One of the largest concerns I hear from women is that they don’t know how to pose, so how can they do a boudoir shoot? But did you know that I used to model professionally AND that I used to teach at a modeling school?? Check out this photo of me that’s over 10 years old that still appears in ROSS stores TODAY:
I also recently got back into modeling as a hobby & here’s some photos of me from shoots I did last year. I’m working on getting back into modeling professionally in 2022 if time allows. You can view the rest of my modeling portfolio at www.candaceperry.com:
As a model for the past 10+ years, I can tell you from having been photographed nearly 100x that while SOME photographers will tell you what to do with your body (some don’t even do that much), many forget to coach the face resulting in sleepy, tired-looking photos. This past summer I spend several thousand dollars on a shoot that I can only use TWO out of the NINE outfits we shot because my eyes looked dead & tired in the rest. I actually cried when I realized that less than 50% of the shoot was useable, especially as there’s a very simple coaching trick to fix this that would’ve only taken them a couple seconds to do. I guess they just didn’t know it. |
You don’t have to worry about any of these issues with me though. I will show you EXACTLY what to do with not only your body, but also your face so that you can have photos of you looking FIERCE. Even though I’m already one of the very few boudoir photographers out there to also have a modeling background, I’m constantly refreshing my training in order to continue being able to call myself a posing expert. Currently, I’m taking a 12 week course on how to coach facial expressions & body language called The Art of Emotion by Denise Birdsong (also a former model turned boudoir photographer) & in April, I’ll be flying out to San Francisco to complete my training with her in person. |
Whether you hire me or someone else, be sure to ask important questions such as: Do they provide pose coaching on not only the body, but also the face, where they got their training from, and how many years of experience they have (I’m going on 11 years), or you may end up like me – in tears because you spent hundreds or even thousands of dollars to get mostly useless photos. ALL of our clients will tell you that they have the opposite problem when they do a shoot with me thanks to all the coaching I do. Many come into their Photo Reveal nervous because they’ve never liked photos that anyone else has taken of them, but with me, the next thing they know, they like too many & can’t narrow down. Don’t believe me? Check out the reviews on our website. |
